We're having a sit down dinner & talent show this spring. All proceeds benefit summer programming for youth & children, including camp scholarships. Tickets will be for sale on Sunday, April 7 and 14 in the Atrium.

Northaven is having a solar eclipse tailgate party on April 8 in the south parking lot. Join us beginning at 12:30 to watch this once in a lifetime event!

Maternal health is in crisis in Texas, and the crisis particularly affects African-American women. Join us on Saturday, February 24 as the United Women in Faith sponsors a symposium with local speakers with a focus on what we can do as faithful Christians to respond.

Quin Mathews, filmmaker, journalist and broadcaster will join the Northaven community for a special viewing of his documentary, Dallas: A City of Hate. The film is a personal account of what Dallas was like at the time of the Kennedy assassination sixty years ago, the roots of hate in Dallas, and how hate remains a threat today.

Following the film, there will be time for a Q & A with Mathews,  Michael Phillips, historian and author of White Metropolis: Race, Ethnicity, and Religion in Dallas 1841-2001, and Bart Weiss, producer of Frame of Mind on KERA, and founder of Dallas Video Festival.

Light refreshments will also be served.

Join us at Northaven to commemorate the beginning of the Lenten season, a time of prayer, fasting and preparation for the death and resurrection of Christ.

It's that time of year again! The Northaven Youth will host a Pancake Supper with proceeds going to Youth Ministries.

Pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice will be served. Gluten free pancakes will be available. Adults are $10 and children (under 12) are $5 with a family cap of $30. Payments accepted at the door.

Did you know that Texas ranks high among the US states for numbers of people living with HIV/AIDS? Did you know that there is a new infection every 15 minutes in the US or that the southern states have the highest numbers of AIDS deaths, people living with HIV, and new AIDS diagnoses?

Learn more about the story of HIV/AIDS and its impact, especially the disproportionate numbers among African Americans. And leave equipped with information about what you can do to help. Lunch will be served.

All are invited as we gather the community to address reproductive rights that are being threatened in Texas. Topics include an update on reproductive rights, the challenges ahead, and what we can do to work for change.

WE can make a difference for reproductive justice!

Celebrate the birth or Jesus with us at 11 am or 4:30 pm on Sunday, December 24.

At 11 am we come together with our children and families as the children and youth lead us in songs and the story of Jesus’ birth.

At 4:30 pm our choir and orchestra will lead us in song as we hear the story, a special message from our Pastor, Rev. Ann Willet, and lift a candle as we sing "Silent Night."

All are welcome to this service that celebrates the light and hope that come to all of us this Christmas Eve.
