A potluck brunch will be served prior to the worship service.

Sunrise Service
It is one thing to speak of light overcoming darkness, of death being resurrected to new life. It is something completely different to experience those words while witnessing a sunrise, while hearing the chirp of a new born baby bird, while seeing the bud of the flowers rise from the ground.
Experience Easter in a whole new light as we gather at dawn to welcome Easter morning and complete our journey of dying to live.

Good Friday Service
Too often feelings of pain, fear, loss, anxiety are emotions that we push aside. Emotions that cause us pain or discomfort are feelings we too often move away from too quickly and don't properly live into.
As we recall the pain, suffering, and grief that occured on Good Friday, we take a look at the painful emotions in our own lives. Through artistic expression, we’ll attempt to live and work through those emotions. Instead of pushing them aside we confront them head on.
Give yourself the space to process pain, fear, loss, and the anxieties that surround us and continue our journey of dying to live.

Maundy Thursday Service
Join us in the sanctuary as we remember this evening filled with so many lessons that we carry with us.
This is where Jesus washed his disciples feet, showing his commitment to serving all. This is where Jesus taught the disciples how to remember his life and to share a meal together. This is where Jesus spent his final hours, with the ones he held close.
Come, and share in this most holy evening and continue our journey of dying to live.

Palm Sunday Service
Begin Holy Week by recounting Jesus entering Jerusalem, and gather with us as we too enter into this most Holy Week with shouts of Hosanna and continue our journey of dying to live!

Service of the Longest Night
For some of us, this Christmas Season isn't all "Joy to the World," and "Merry Christmas." For some of us who have experienced loss, hardship, or major changes we need space to mourn and grieve.
The "Service of the Longest Night," held close to the winter solstice (December 21st), acknowledges and offers comfort to individuals experiencing grief, loss, or difficulty during the holiday season, focusing on the theme of Christ as the "Light of the World" overcoming darkness and providing hope even in the darkest times.
Set in the quiet of our beautiful sanctuary, come and find comfort through special music provided by a chamber choir of gifted students, candle light, scriptures and words of hope.

Come Here and Now — A Cantata for Advent
Experience the wonder of Advent through a moving musical journey that celebrates the many ways God comes to us:

In Christ’s presence, revealing our true selves.
In the everyday moments when we love our neighbors and embrace the stranger
Come and prepare your heart for the season of hope and promise. All are welcome!
Text by John Thornburg
Music by Larry McCain (For Chorus, Soloists, Organ, Flute, and Percussion)
Conducted by Nick LaRocca, Director of Music and Worship
This work was commissioned by Northaven United Methodist Church.
