For some of us, this Christmas Season isn't all "Joy to the World," and "Merry Christmas." For some of us who have experienced loss, hardship, or major changes we need space to mourn and grieve.
The "Service of the Longest Night," held close to the winter solstice (December 21st), acknowledges and offers comfort to individuals experiencing grief, loss, or difficulty during the holiday season, focusing on the theme of Christ as the "Light of the World" overcoming darkness and providing hope even in the darkest times.
Set in the quiet of our beautiful sanctuary, come and find comfort through special music provided by a chamber choir of gifted students, candle light, scriptures and words of hope.
